Your first AI companion in five steps
New to AI roleplay? Follow this path and you'll have a consistent character, a working lorebook, and a feel for dreamcoin costs in one session.
1. Describe her in one line, or open a public character
Type one sentence such as “a gentle photographer in Lisbon who teases me about my bad coffee.” The app expands it into a full character card. Prefer to browse? Open a public character and start chatting straight away — you can copy and edit it later.
2. Pick a chat model
Start on Balanced for everyday chat. Switch to Muse for descriptive, creative scenes or Genius for long, plot-heavy stories. Changing models doesn't erase memory.
3. Add three lorebook entries
Write short entries for her home, one important person, and one shared memory. Give each a keyword. This alone fixes most “she forgot” moments. Read the lorebook guide for templates.
4. Try one picture and one voice note
Ask for a picture from the scene you're in and a short voice note. Both use dreamcoins, so you'll see the real cost before committing to calls or video.
5. Decide on free or Premium
If you chat daily, Premium removes standard-chat limits. Otherwise stay on free dreamcoins and top up with invite rewards. Always confirm the live price at checkout.
